There are still more than 90% people living in an extremely poor living conditions, with a budget of less than $1 to spend everyday.

In this project, we focus on this group of people, trying to make an improvement to provide them a more sanitary living environment with an affordable cost.

By researching a village located at the outskirts of Shanghai, where is very hot and humid in summer. And families there hardly have a refrigerator to keep food fresh. As a result, we come up with an idea that to take advantage of the weather and use the evaporative cooling principle rather than electricity to make a refrigerator for them.
